I recently started a truenas server at home, and installed the qbittorrent plugin. I moved my downloaded video directory to the server, and directed the qbittorrent to add the magnet links for each torrent associated with the download folder I moved to the server. The process was going as expected, and the files were loading very quickly, way above what a download would progress on my internet bandwidth, inferring this means the traffic was only between my internal network and/or my sata transfer rate on my harddrives.

I am glad I checked the MMA-Torrents site, though, because my ratio got nuked from 1.2something down to sub 0.5 ratio. Maybe this is because I didn't remove the magnet link from uTorrent where I originally downloaded them?

I'm sure I messed something up somewhere in this mix, maybe this wasn't the right procedure to move these, so maybe this is just a "me" problem. I had to pause the progress on the files, though, and cant let them progress to seeding because I think my ratio will plummet way below 0.4.

Any advice on how to handle this? Everything had been seeded for at least 48 hrs, and I would like to leave them up for others but don't want to kill my ability to participate in the private tracker.

I have no idea why it happened, but its most likely as you say because of something that happened when you made the move.
