Post subject: I signed up, but didn't get an email with a link to activate

The site is telling me it sent me an email with an activation link for my account but I never received one. And yes I have checked my spam filter. Do I need an invite or something or do I need to be approved before I receive this email? I've got great ratios on Demonoid and audionews.ru and I try to seed whenever possible.
