+1

i'm also automating my media downloads using sonarr and radarr exclusively with usenet but recently started looking into how to automate torrent downloads from here. it would be great if mma-torrents was searchable from within the *arrs~

in the mean time, were you able to get manual searches working in sonarr and/or radarr? i found the below topic about the RSS URL referencing the cookie pass & uid but have not been able to add the tracker.
Code:
https://foru.mma-torrents.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=10222

this is my setup in sonarr/radarr:
Full RSS Feed URL:
Code:
https://mma-torrents.com/rssdl.php:COOKIE:uid=xxxxx;pass=xxxxx

Cookie:
Code:
https://mma-torrents.com/rssdl.php:COOKIE:uid=xxxxx;pass=xxxxx

and when i test it, i get the error:
Code:
Indexer feed is not supported: Unable to parse indexer: Rss feed must have a pubDate element with a valid publish date.

not sure if you are seeing the same on your end?

Hi,

I cant really add much more relevant help here, but it is not directly logical that it gives that error. Because the pubdate tag is definitely there.

Example:

Code:
<pubDate>Tue, 02 Nov 2021 07:16:28 +0000</pubDate>

Hi Dent - I appreciate your input and agree completely. I checked the RSS feed and also saw that the "pubDate" was clearly listed. I should check with the Sonarr/Radarr developers too and see what this error could also be pointing. I have a feeling I don't have the correct settings and therefore it's throwing the *an* error (even if it's not directly related)

Update: Checked with the app developer for Sonarr and they note that the 'pubDate' is required for each item, not just the RSS feed itself, and therefore it is considered to be an invalid RSS feed and not able to be added as an indexer in Sonarr (and by extension, Radarr). The error has been updated to better reflect the issue, which now read "Each item in the RSS feed must have a pubDate element with a valid publish date."

Is this something you can help to address @Dent so we can bring some automation to downloading and seeding the latest combat sport events, to start?

Added pubdate on each item. Please check if it works now.

Successfully added the RSS feed as a Torrent RSS Feed/Indexer on Sonarr & Radarr. Going to add UFC 268 and see if it can be picked up automatically over the week.

Thanks @Dent for your quick action!

That is awesome to hear! :) Hopefully it will work as it should now!

The tracker can be added as an indexer to Radarr but of course cannot automatically find the required file (ie. UFC 268) without a year appended to it, as the original poster implied. That would require a filename change rule to all of mma-torrents, which I'm not sure is possible without some major changes? (sorry not my wheelhouse, just taking a guess :)

I am going to see if I can at least issue a manual search through perhaps NZBhydra or Jackett and will report back - this would allow manual searches through existing self-hosted services, as a personal preference for anyone interested.

While you have the developers on the line, tell them to change that. I mean why would a year in the title be required for it to work? Its not optimal. They should at least allow an exception.

Unfortunately, neither sonarr nor radarr have support for sporting events currently or in their development pipelines. Therefore, they are not the corrrect tools for what you want to do. I recommend setting up auto downloading rules via your bittorrent client. Qbittorrent, Rutorrent, utorrent, etc. all have them. Another optin I have heard about is FlexGet, but I don't know much about it. Good luck!

Edit: to be clear, the problems stem from UFC events not being movies and also not being linear seasons. For instance, within main events, there are PPVs, Fight Nights, UFC on ESPN, etc. and then layer in all of the weigh ins, early prelims, prelims, embedded, Dana White Contender series, etc. It becomes a bit of a mess.
