The Flyweight Grand-Prix Semi-Finals bout between Danny Kingad and Kairat Akhmetov was expected for the ONE Championship: Dawn Of Heroes main card. On July 8, however, Akhmetov was forced to withdraw due to an injury. Reece McLaren was pulled from a planned preliminary card bout with Yuya Wakamatsu and faced Kingad in the Grand-Prix Semi-Finals bout. Wakamatsu instead faced the former ONE Flyweight World Champion Geje Eustaquio, who stepped in on short notice for this encounter.

This looks crazy good. One Championship is by far becoming the best in the world imho. Cannot wait to watch the Haggerty Vs. Rodtang fight, it is definitely gonna be a wild one. Both are crazy tough. And both are not afraid to stand right in front of each other and just bang. I have a feeling we may see a knockout in this one. But, both have crazy chins on em, so you never know. But, Haggerty is so skilled. It was amazing to watch him become champion, I do not think he is going to lose it. You just really never know with either one of those fighters, what makes it sooooo exciting. It's set up to be fight of the year! And after all said and done, I bet it becomes Fight of the Year.

It was a really cool card I agree :)

Spoiler:
Man when Eddie Alvarez got leg-kicked and fell I was sure the fight was over. Such a rush of a hundreds of emotions in those last seconds when he turned it around and finished Folayang .

By the way, Alvarez looked HUGE! Are ONE doing drug tests yet? I know they where supposed to start doing it in 2019. Not that I think necessarily hes on the juice, just that seeing the fighters so big with no weightcut makes you think about it I guess.

Mightymouse pulled it off as well.

Great fights!
