I am actually pretty stoked for this one. Just got a follow on my Instagram by Juan Adams. Very nice gentleman. Just had a nice talk about his weight cut he just did, and how he was .2 over with an hour to go. Which on the Contender Series its like a Title Fight, you have to be on or under to make it, no up to 1lb over leeway. But, he said he got his grub on, actually at a bit to much he felt like, but is feeling better this morning and is ready to go. Should be a great fight! And definitely the one I am most excited for! Truly hope he makes. Such a humble and funny gentleman. |

Yeah I hear ya, I'm looking forward to each of these events. It's such a great format with the contract(s) by the end. Makes for some of the best fights this year. |

And BOY did this event live up to the expectations! Dana White (the most awesome person to ever live) Tuesday Night Contenders season 2 is on FIRE!  Just as the commentators so correctly said, the emotional part where you see the fighters backstory, family watch the fight live and the happiness once they get the contracts, and even the disappointments of those that doesn't, makes it such a thrilling experience. And the quality of the fights is super awesome, full of first round finishes and KO's. I just love it.
