Background
The event is expect to be headlined by two of the world's top lightweights as two-time Bellator champion Michael Chandler meets former World Extreme Cagefighting and UFC champion Benson Henderson. Chandler will look to defend his belt for the first time since defeating Patricky Freire via knockout at Bellator 157: Dynamite 2. A 15-fight veteran of Bellator MMA, Chandler has collected memorable wins at 155-pounds including a victory over UFC lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez. Henderson earned a title shot in the lightweight division against its current titleholder in Chandler after defeating Patricio Freire at Bellator 160.
A key welterweight bout will also feature the undefeated Michael Page against Fernando Gonzalez, winner of five straight MMA fights and undefeated in Bellator.
