Despite some heavy competition from the world's most beautiful women, Arianny Celeste is apparently just as popular as ever.

Ranking at No. 18 in Maxim's annual Hot 100 reader poll, the iconic ring girl has turned in her best showing since 2010, outranking the likes of Megan Fox, Mad Men star Christina Hendricks and famed TV personality Olivia Munn.

Celeste even topped superstar UFC champion Ronda Rousey, who debuted at No. 29 in the Hot 100 with a sizzling near-nude photoshoot.

Appearing in Maxim's Hot 100 since 2010, Celeste has been a mainstay in the polls for four consecutive years, moving up and down the rankings from No. 23 (2010) to No. 70 (2011) through her recent modeling career.

Celeste wasn't the only MMA personality on deck this year, either.

Fellow UFC ring girl Brittney Palmer—another fresh face in the Maxim reader poll—made an impressive debut in the Maxim Hot 100 at No. 67, while UFC and Fuel TV host Kenda Perez rounded out the list at No. 92.

Although a top-20 ranking in the list is a landmark achievement for the 27-year-old Celeste, it falls just short of the No. 16 mark for Gina Carano in 2009, which still remains the highest placement for an MMA celebrity.

Now that the full Maxim Hot 100 list is public, here's how Rousey, Carano and the Octagon Girls stack up against each other historically:

• Gina Carano—No. 16 (2009)
• Arianny Celeste—No. 18 (2013)
• Arianny Celeste—No. 23 (2010)
• Ronda Rousey—No. 29 (2013)
• Arianny Celeste—No. 58 (2012)
• Brittney Palmer—No. 67 (2013)
• Arianny Celeste—No. 70 (2011)

Several other women have taken up the "Octagon Girl" role as the UFC continues to expand into new international markets, but Celeste and Palmer are typically seen on most pay-per-view events, especially in North America.

Celeste is expected to make her usual fight week run during UFC 160, which takes place on May 25 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Aside from the main event rematch between heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez and Antonio Silva, the card will also be highlighted by a co-main event bout between Junior dos Santos and Mark Hunt, as well as a lightweight title eliminator between Gray Maynard and T.J. Grant.
