Orange County (Calif.) police arrested Jason "Mayhem" Miller this morning for suspicion of burglary following an alleged break-in at a church in Mission Viejo, Calif.

Miller remains in custody as police conduct a medical evaluation on the former Strikeforce and UFC fighter. He is expected to be arraigned within 48 hours.

OC Sheriff's Department Director of Media Relations Jim Amormino today confirmed the news with MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) following an initial report from TMZ.com.

Amormino said Miller's bail has been set at $20,000.

Amormino said sherrif's deputies were summoned to Mission Hills Church at 9 a.m. on Monday when a pastor dialed 911 and reported that someone had broken into the church.

Deputies saw a broken window, broken pictures, scattered CDs and books, and glass when they arrived on scene. Retardant from a fire extinguisher also had been sprayed throughout the first floor of the church.

They found more fire retardant upstairs, then happened upon Miller, who deputies said was naked on a couch. Miller was then taken into custody.

Amormino said deputies discovered that another window had been broken on Saturday night and boarded up.

"We don't know if [Miller] broke the window the night before in the attempted burglary and that's how he entered last night," Amormino said of the alleged crime.

Miller (28-9 MMA, 0-3 UFC) was released from the UFC in May after a loss to C.B. Dollaway at UFC 146, which was his third inside the octagon. The former "Bully Beatdown" host and coach on "The Ultimate Fighter 14" recently drew headlines when he engaged UFC President Dana White on Twitter.

"Since you never allowed me to officially retire, I am now a Warrior for Peace and Ultimate Fighter for Justice," Miller wrote.

White subsequently told reporters that he regretted the confrontation.

"I'm sure he's not going through a very good time right now, no matter how much he wants to say he is," White said.

Ryan Parsons, Miller's longtime manager, said he stopped working with Miller one month ago.

Miller has been suffering with an illness for a long time now. He discussed the issue back in 2005 right here. Hope he recovers.
