UFC light-heavyweight champ Jon Jones' sentencing on a driving-while-intoxicated charge has again been been delayed.
Jones appeared today in Binghamton (N.Y.) City Court to ask for more time to complete a drug and alcohol abuse program, MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) confirmed with the Broome County (N.Y.) District Attorney's Office.

Sentencing is now set for July 31 at Binghamton City Court.
The 24-year-old champ was ordered to undergo counseling after pleading guilty to DWI on May 26. His license was suspended, and he also is required to install ignition interlock devices in his vehicles, pay restitution for damage, undergo a substance-dependency evaluation, and attend a victim-impact class.
As part of a plea deal with the Broome County District Attorney's Office, he is expected to be sentenced to a one-year conditional discharge and fined $1,500.
Jones today told the court he is taking the classes near his home in Ithaca.
The champ crashed his 2012 Bentley into a utility pole in the early morning hours of May 19. He was unscathed, but two female passengers suffered minor injuries and were treated at a local hospital.
Jones (16-1 MMA, 10-1 UFC) is set to defend his title against Dan Henderson (29-8 MMA, 5-2 UFC) at UFC 151 in Las Vegas on Sept. 1.
