Bellator 62 LXII is an upcoming mixed martial arts event to be held by Bellator Fighting Championships. It is scheduled to take place on March 23, 2012 at Laredo Energy Arena in Laredo, Texas. The event will be distributed live in prime time by MTV2.

Lightweight Quarterfinal bout: Brazil Patricky Freire vs. United States Lloyd Woodard
Lightweight Quarterfinal bout: United States Rick Hawn vs. Brazil Ricardo Tirloni
Lightweight Quarterfinal bout: United States J.J. Ambrose vs. United States Brent Weedman
Lightweight Quarterfinal bout: Brazil Thiago Michel vs. Brazil Rene Nazare


Background

The event will host the opening round of Bellator's Season Six Lightweight Tournament.

Yeah the whole turn of events took a weird events - a NC, Prindle out with flu, now Santos misses weight all in a span of 4-5 months.
Also oops I did mean Eric Prindle and not Ron Prindle :-q
