Bellator bantamweight champion, Zach Makovsky, will compete in a non-title bout at this event. He is expected to face one-time UFC veteran Ryan Roberts.
This event will host the second round of the Bellator Season 5 Middleweight Tournament.
Eddie Alvarez was scheduled to make his second title defense of his lightweight championship against Michael Chandler on this card. However, on September 20th, it was announced that Alvarez suffered an injury and the match has been delayed until a later date.
