Randy Couture has confessed he would not want to fight Jon Jones, even if he was offered the bout by the UFC.

Couture has spent several hours in the build-up to UFC 129 explaining his decision to retire after Saturday's clash with Lyoto Machida. The 47-year-old believes he has done all he can in the sport, and he is keen to transfer his image from MMA fighter to genuine movie actor.

The media have been desperate to find a name that could tempt Couture to admit he may fight on, with Fedor Emelianenko constantly mentioned, but Couture insists even a battle with current light-heavyweight champion Jon Jones would not tempt him.

"It doesn't matter if I win or not. I know them (the UFC). I know Dana [White]. I know he's got plans already," Couture told MMA Fix. "That doesn't matter to me. He's going to have to really step up if he thinks I'm going to come back out.

"There's a lot of younger guys that are, you know, there's four guys on that card in Toronto that are vying for titles or putting their titles on the line.

"There's a lot younger guys that are... Jon Jones is a perfect example. If they offered me that fight in the fall - nobody wants to fight that cat right now. I don't see that battle in my future. I'm having fun doing what I'm doing, doing what I love to do and I think I'm going to focus on all the other stuff."

If Couture beats Machida to extend his winning run to four fights, UFC president White will be desperate to ensure the former five-time champion extends his career. But Couture simply cannot see what the UFC can offer him.

"What, they're going to offer me a 10-fight deal? I don't know what they're going to offer me. It's not about titles, it's not about belts. I've done everything there is to do in this sport and had a blast the 14 years I've been doing it. I think now is the time to move on.

"I'm going to win this fight [against Machida]. It doesn't matter to me [what Jon Jones does]. Nobody is unbeatable. They can say, I mean, people are going to say all kinds of things. They can speculate all they want and they can throw Fedor in there and everybody else in there and it doesn't matter. It's about how I feel, where I'm at in my life and how I see it that counts."
