There's an exciting match-up brewing in the UFC's new bantamweight division as Chan Sung Jung will meet former title contender Rani Yahya in a 135-pound war on Jan. 22 in a "Fight for the Troops" in Fort Hood, Texas.

Yahya's manager Wallid Ismail confirmed the contest with Sherdog.com.

Sung Jung, who no longer wants to be called the "Korean Zombie," was impressive in his controversial split decision loss to Leonard Garcia. His exciting style earned him fans in his WEC debut. Sung Jung, however, has vowed a change in his fighting style after getting knocked out courtesy of George Roop's head kick back in September.

Will Sung Jung put his new style into good use against Yahya?

Star-divide

After coming up short in his bantamweight title bout to Chase Beebe and suffering a TKO at the hands of Norifumi "KID" Yamamoto in Japan, Yahya returned to WEC with a vengeance. The Brazilian would go on a three fight winning streak defeating Yoshhiro Maeda, Eddie Wineland and John Hosman, earning submission of the night for all three fights.

Yahya's winning streak was snapped in December 2009 when he was TKO'd by Joseph Benavidez. Yahya looked to rebound from his loss, but came up short when he was defeated by Takeya Mizugaki.

UFC Fight Night 23 is expected to be the second "Fight for the Troops" special.

On tap for the event, top lightweight contender Kenny Florian meets top prospect Evan Dunham. Also on the card, Melvin Guillard looks to extend his winning streak to four straight as he meets Yves Edwards. Matt Mitrione will look to build off his recent victory when he battles Tim Hague. Mike Swick is also expected to make his return to the Octagon against David Mitchell.
