After injuries to Shark Fights 13 competitors Drew McFedries and Marcus Hicks left the Texas-based organization scrambling for replacements, Danillo Villefort (11-3) and Daniel Straus (12-3) stepped up to the plate.

As MMAjunkie.com first reported, Villefort will face Joey Villasenor (27-7), while Straus meets Karen Darabedyan (9-3).

The promotion today officially announced the changes.

Featuring a main event between light heavyweights Trevor Prangley and Keith Jardine, Shark Fights 13 takes place Sept. 11 at the Amarillo Civic Center Coliseum in Amarillo, Texas.

The main card airs live on pay-per-view.

Villefort is perhaps best known for his two-fight stint under the Zuffa banner. "Indio" earned a TKO win over Mike Campbell at WEC 38 in January 2009, but he dropped a UFC 101 contest to Jesse Lennox via third-round doctor's stoppage.

The 27-year-old has fought mostly as a welterweight in his five-year career, but he'll move up to 185 pounds for this short-notice fight. Villefort has put together back-to-back wins since his release from the UFC, and he also owns career victories over UFC veteran Mike Massenzio and "The Ultimate Fighter 11" contestant Clayton McKinney.

Villasenor, meanwhile, fights for another big promotion following stints with King of the Cage, PRIDE, EliteXC and his current home, Strikeforce. Recently, he snapped a four-fight win streak (the second-longest of his career) with a unanimous-decision loss to Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza at "Strikeforce St. Louis: Heavy Artillery."

Prior to the loss, Villasenor strung together wins over notables Riki Fukuda, Ryan Jensen, Phil Baroni and Evangelista "Cyborg" Santos.

A Team Vision MMA fighter, Straus is currently riding an eight-fight win streak that includes a June win over Chad Hinton under the Bellator Fighting Championships banner, as well as a January win over three-time UFC veteran Gideon Ray.

Meanwhile, Darabedyan returns to the Shark Fights organization after a three-fight stint under the WEC banner. Darabedyan defeated two-time Bellator Fighting Championships veteran Estevan Payan in a September 2009 bout at Shark Fights 6.

With the changes, the official Shark Fights 13 lineup now includes:

MAIN CARD

* Champ Trevor Prangley vs. Keith Jardine (light-heavyweight non-title fight)
* Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou vs. Houston Alexander
* Paul Daley vs. Jorge Masvidal
* Danillo Villefort vs. Joey Villasanor
* Brock Larson vs. Tarec Saffiedine

PRELIMINARY CARD

* Champ Douglas Evans vs. Ronnie Mann (featherweight title fight)
* Paul Bradley vs. Johnny Reese
* Aaron Rosa vs. Devin Cole
* Karen Darabedyan vs. Daniel Straus
* Eric Davila vs. Pete Spratt
