While Bellator Fighting Championship's second season recently wrapped up, the third season is just a little more than a month away, and plans for the promotion are being quickly finalized.
The promotion recently revealed that it will return to the Chicago Theatre in Chicago on Aug. 19 for Bellator 25 before making a return trip to Kansas City's Power and Light District on Aug. 26 for Bellator 26.
Tickets for both events are expected to go on sale soon.
Bellator 25 and 26 serve as the second and third events of the tournament-based promotion's third season. Matchups for both events have yet to be officially announced.
Bellator previously visited the Chicago Theatre in April for Bellator 14, while the Kansas City Power & Light District hosted Bellator 22 in June.
Bellator's third season features tournaments in the heavyweight and bantamweight divisions, as well as a 115-pound female bracket.
Bellator's second season wrapped in June. Middleweight Alexander Shlemenko, welterweight Ben Askren, lightweight Pat Curran and featherweight Joe Warren were each crowned tournament winners during Bellator's second season and will face Bellator's current champions during the forthcoming third season.
