ONE Championship returns to Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on September 5 with another explosive lineup as ONE Friday Fights 123 goes down live in Asia primetime.
This event features international stars from across the globe competing under Muay Thai, kickboxing, and MMA rules — most of whom will be battling for a life-changing US$100,000 contract with the world’s largest martial arts organization.
In the main event, already-contracted Brazilian striker Felipe Lobo puts his elite skills to the test against dangerous Thai knockout artist Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai in bantamweight Muay Thai action. The number-three ranked Lobo looks to maintain his position and inch closer to a World Title shot, while Kulabdam seeks to prove he still has what it takes to compete at the highest level by defeating Lobo and earning another contract with the promotion.
In the featured bout, Thailand’s Donking Yotharakmuaythai faces teenage Russian prodigy Rustam Yunusov in flyweight Muay Thai action. Donking brings wealth of experience from his ONE Friday Fights appearances where he’s been nearly blemish-free, while the undefeated Yunusov looks to bolster his reputation as a hard-hitting puncher with a victory over his experienced Thai opponent.
International talent shines throughout the card as Japan’s Eisaku Ogasawara faces Thailand’s Sanit Lookthamsuea. The card also features a compelling Muay Thai rematch between Chabakaew Sor KanJanchai and Gusjung Fairtex, while Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu specialist Moises Lois Ilogon meets China’s undefeated Linbo Bai in MMA action.
A bantamweight Muay Thai bout between Felipe Lobo and Kulabdam Sor.Jor.Piek-U-Thai will be headlining the event. The bout was originally scheduled at ONE Friday Fights 114 on June 27, but was cancelled after Kulabdam had an injury.
