In the main event, Salahdine Parnasse, a double KSW champion, will defend her lightweight belt against Marian Ziółkowski, a former champion of this weight class.
Salahdine Parnasse was supposed to defend his lightweight belt against Marcin Held. However, the Pole had to withdraw from the fight due to a rib injury. Marian Ziółkowski (25-9-1 1NC, 6 KO, 13 Sub), a former lightweight champion whose history has already intertwined with Parnasse's twice, will enter the championship fight with the Frenchman.
The story of the fight between Marian Ziółkowski and Salahdine Parnasse has been written for years. Both fighters have long wanted this confrontation and were first pitted against each other in November 2022. Marian Ziółkowski, who held the lightweight championship belt at the time, had to withdraw from the fight due to injury. Sebastian Rajewski came in to replace him, and the interim belt was on the line. Parnasse won the fight ahead of time and won the championship title.
The unification of the lightweight belts and the fight between Ziółkowski and Parnasse was supposed to take place in June 2023 at the XTB KSW Colosseum 2 gala. This time, however, fate thwarted these plans. Just before the fight, Ziółkowski suffered an injury and the fight did not take place. The popular "Golden Boy" then relinquished the belt, and the Frenchman became the full lightweight champion.
After 2.5 years since the first match between Ziółkowski and Parnasse, the gentlemen will finally meet in a round cage during the gala in France. Parnasse will defend the lightweight belt in front of his home crowd for the third time in history, and Ziółkowski will try for the first time to regain the title he has never lost in a fight.
The second fight of the evening will feature a duel between top middleweights, who are famous for their spectacular fighting style. In this fight, the former title contender, Damian Janikowski, will face Laïd Zerhouni.
