Background
The main event of the event will be in the Light Heavyweight division, when two-time Mexican Olympian Alfonso “Sniper” Leyva (7-2-0), from Xtreme Couture, from Guadalajara, Jalisco, faces Ricardo “Woody” Chávez (26-20-0), from Naucalpan de Juárez, State of Mexico.
The co-feature will be in Bantamweight where Johnny “Kid Kvenbo” Muñoz Jr (13-4-0), from Norco, California, against Luis Duvan “Verdugo” Rincón (8-5-0), from Zipaquira, Cudinamarca, Colombia.
"We have a program of eight professional fights, and starting at 12:00 noon, another edition of UWC New Blood, with amateur fighters. They have a weigh-in on Saturday in addition to the professionals," stated Alejandro Islas, the president of Ultimate Warrior Challenge Mexico (UWC).
Another 135-pound bout will be between Juan Pablo “Molo” González (12-5-2), of Buenos Aires, Argentina, and Ricardo “Amenaza” Ramírez (5-7-0), of Real Fighters México, of Mexico City.
