ONE Friday Fights 101 airs live in Asia primetime on March 21 and features 12 thrilling Muay Thai, kickboxing, and MMA bouts. After last week’s centennial event that saw three athletes secure a coveted US$100,000 contract with ONE Championship, many of this week’s international stars will look to do the same.
In the main event, already-contracted #4-ranked flyweight Muay Thai contender Nakrob Fairtex squares off against his hard-hitting Thai compatriot Puengluang Baanramba in what promises to be a technical yet explosive striking showcase.
For Nakrob, this fight represents a crucial opportunity to avoid back-to-back defeats for the first time in ONE. Puengluang — who started with six consecutive wins but has since gone 1-3 — also desperately needs a victory to reignite his momentum.
In the featured bout of the evening, undefeated Israeli-American Avahat Gordon makes his promotional bow against Myanmar’s established Eh Mwi. Before that, Team Lakay’s Carlos Alvarez of the Philippines tests himself against unbeaten Japanese fighter Seiya Matsuda in a featherweight MMA contest.
A flyweight Muay Thai bout between Nakrob Fairtex and Puengluang Banrambaa will be headlining the event.
