International MMA champion Rodrigo Vera, “El Gato Loco”, will star in a new battle in the FFC cage, this time against the experienced ex-Bellator fighter Arivaldo Lima Da Silva, in the 81st edition of the well-known South American promoter of this discipline.
Vera, with a record of 18-1-1, is considered one of the best 61 kgs. in the region, with important victories in the country, Argentina and Mexico.
On more than one occasion he has expressed his determined intention to reach the big leagues like UFC; but while that happens, he will continue his career as FFC champion.
On this occasion, he will compete in a featherweight fight, against the Brazilian Da Silva, who in his last appearance fell by split decision against the local Brian Moore, in Bellator 285, held at the 3Aren in Dublin.
FFC 81 will feature representatives from Peru, Brazil, Argentina, Venezuela and Ecuador. The event will take place on Wednesday, September 25, at the Arena de Barranco Convention Center.
