Background
The event is expected to be headlined by a BKFC Women's Flyweight Championship bout between current champion Christine Ferea against Jade Masson-Wong.
History will be made in Friday’s Main Event as Christine “Misfit” Ferea, the most dominant female fighter in BKFC history, looks to defend her BKFC World Women’s Flyweight Championship for a record fourth time against her toughest challenge yet, Jade “Evil Smile” Masson-Wong, the No. 1 contender in the division.
Ferea’s reign of dominance in the BKFC Squared Circle is unparalleled. She’s won six straight fights – the longest winning streak for any female combatant in BKFC history. Ferea also holds the record for most stoppage victories among female BKFC fighters, with six. But Masson-Wong is certainly no stepping stone. The upset-minded Canadian is 3-1 on the strength of back-to-back victories, and hungry to bring the belt home to Montreal.
Major rankings implications in the stacked BKFC lightweight division are on the line in Friday’s Co-Main Event as Bobby “ODB” Taylor locks horns with Jeremy “Lil’ Heathen” Stephens. The battle-tested Taylor is the No. 5 contender in the 155-pound division, while the 34-time UFC vet Stephens is looking to break into the rankings with a second straight finish to kick off his bare knuckle career. Taylor’s 6-2 BKFC record includes four wins by stoppage.
Friday's Feature Fight sees Trever Bradshaw battle UFC vet Drako "The Great Drakolini" Rodriguez, with both hard-hitting lightweights trying to smash their way to 2-0 with a second straight finish in the Squared Circle.
