Undefeated in BRAVE CF, Solomanov will be looking to cement his position as the number one contender in the division when Rauan Bekbolat looks to disrupt Solomanov’s run and make an impression in the most global MMA organization in the world. An India vs. Pakistan showdown between Indian MMA veteran Srikant Sekhar and undefeated Pakistani superstar Rizwan Ali at Lightweight will serve as the co-main event of the night and it will be one of the two India vs. Pakistan matchups on the card alongside Bharat Khandare vs. Zia Mashwani at Bantamweight. The fights will mark the latest chapter in the historic sporting rivalry, featuring the best names from both nations going up against each other African Superstar Eliezer Kubanza returns to action as he continues his pursuit of the Super Welterweight title shot as he takes on Kyrgyzstan’s Salamat Orozakunov. Kubanza looks to get inside the cage after his fight cancellation at BRAVE CF 82 when Former Kyrgyz Armed Forces officer Orozakunov will be looking to derail the hype around Kubanza and make his mark in BRAVE Combat Federation. Muhammad Idrisov makes a quick return to the cage after his dominant win at BRAVE CF 83 and will fight Lasha Abramishvili who is riding on a three-fight winning streak with all three wins coming via first round stoppages. Ismail Khan and Abbas Khan will be in action representing Pakistan when they fight Kazakh Wrestling standout Bagylan Zahakansha and Egypt’s Adham Mohamed respectively. BRAVE International Combat Week, the biggest combat sports festival in the world is back and this year, it will be held in Pakistan in association with the IMMAF Asian Championships. This will be the first time that the marquee event will be held in Pakistan and follows successful outings in Bahrain, Colombia, and Serbia. The Combat week kicks off with BRAVE CF 85 on August 18 and will be followed by the IMMAF Asian Championships which is scheduled to happen from August 18 to August 22, both in Lahore. BRAVE CF 85 will mark the return of BRAVE Combat Federation to Pakistan for the first time since BRAVE CF 17 which happened in 2018. BRAVE CF 17 featured some of the top MMA talent from Pakistan and around the world and was headlined by the showdown between Abdoul Abdouraguimov and Rodrigo Cavalheiro Correia. With the upcoming event, Pakistan joins an elite group of countries that have hosted BRAVE CF more than once, while also becoming only the fourth nation worldwide to host BRAVE International Combat Week. At the same time, it will also be the first time that the IMMAF Asian MMA Championship will be held in Pakistan; making it a historic affair for the MMA ecosystem in the country. The event further highlights BRAVE Combat Federation’s domination in the Asian Mixed Martial Arts market. The most global MMA organization in the world, which has been on a record-breaking spree in 2024 so far, currently holds the largest market share in Asia both in terms of audience reach and relevance within the continent’s sub-regions. The return to Pakistan will also be part of a busy period for BRAVE Combat Federation which will see the organization travelling around the world in 70 days hosting six events across six countries and two continents including a debut event in China prior to the outing in Pakistan and a debut event in Bulgaria after the event in Pakistan.
