A lightweight bout between Clay Collard and Mads Burnell is expected to headline the event.
A light heavyweight bout between Laurynas Urbonavicius and Karl Albrektsson was scheduled for this event. However, Urbonavicius pulled out for unknown reason and was replaced by former KSW Light Heavyweight Champion Ibragim Chuzhigaev. In turn, Chuzhigaev pulled out and was replaced by The Ultimate Fighter: Team Joanna vs. Team Cláudia light heavyweight winner Andrew Sanchez.
The Professional Fighters League (PFL) today announced the Huntsman Center in Salt Lake City, UT will host 2024 PFL Global Season action on Friday, June 21 with fights in the Lightweight and Light Heavyweight divisions.
The night’s main event will feature 2023 PFL Lightweight finalist Clay Collard facing Mads Burnell. June 21 will be a homecoming for Collard, who was born and still trains in Utah. One of the most exciting fighters in MMA is fresh off an impressive victory over former Bellator Lightweight Champion Patricky Pitbull.
2023 PFL Light Heavyweight Champion Impa Kasanganay will take on Jakob Nedoh in the co-main event. Elite fighters from the two divisions will be taking to the PFL SmartCage looking to secure 2024 PFL Playoff berths and continue their journeys to PFL World Championship glory and the $1 million prize.

The second half of the 2024 PFL Global Season continues June 21, from Huntsman Center with Lightweight and Light Heavyweight division action. The card will feature respective division points leaders Michael Dufort, Brent Primus, Elvin Espinoza, Rob Wilkinson, Josh Silveira and Dovlet Yaghimuradov returning to Global Season action.
