Background
The event is scheduled to be headlined by former Interim BKFC Light Heavyweight Champion Mike Richman against Erick Lozano.
Two of the heaviest hitters on the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship roster toe the line in the Main Event of BKFC Fight Night Clearwater on Friday in Clearwater, FL. We asked some of BKFC’s most savvy fighters who they’re picking – former BKFC World Champion Mike “The Marine” Richman or Erick “El Travieso” Lozano – for Friday’s must-see Main Event!
Jared "Captain Deadpool" Warren: I give Lozano a puncher's chance, but I’m going with “The Marine” on this one. I don’t think he’d attempt a comeback fight unless he’s 1,000-percent ready.
Esteban "Mohawk" Rodriguez: Erick Lozano by fourth-round KO.
Wayna "The Rated R Superstar" Reid: Erick Lozano ain’t no one to sleep on. He shocked me with the KO over Francesco Ricchi, and he can also take a punch. But I think Mike Richman is going to take this one. I love how calm and cold he looks; it’s like he shows no emotion whether he wins or loses. He has the same face and that’s pretty scary.
"Royal" Ryan Reber: I’m gonna have to roll with Mike “The Marine” on this one because I feel like the only reason he came out of retirement is because he can’t go out on a loss! So I expect him to bounce back!
Blake "Big Boy" LaCaze: Firework fight! I see it going either way depending on the tempo set and calibration of punches thrown. I like Richman, but you can never count Lozano out of any fight. Bloodbath in the making.
Noah Cutter: Lozano is a good test for anyone going up in weight. He's incredibly durable and powerful. No official prediction, but it’s a good test for Richman coming back and probably a lot closer fight than people think.
Zach "Shark Attack" Calmus: Lozano versus Richman will definitely not disappoint the fans! Richman, with his precision striking, is looking to make his comeback after taking a break. Lozano needs this fight to make a statement, but Mike Richman is in his way! I like Mike!
