Background

New Mexico is home to some of the biggest bare knuckle fans on the planet – and many of the game’s most exciting and dangerous fighters. Nobody fits that description better than ABQ’s John “The Magician” Dodson, who defends his BKFC World Flyweight Championship for the first time in Friday’s Main Event. Standing across from Dodson in the world-famous Squared Circle is Dagoberto Aguero, the gloved boxing sensation from Dominican Republic who looked stellar in his BKFC debut victory over No. 3 contender Chancy Wilson. Dodson, a former UFC title challenger, is looking to improve to 4-0 with a fourth straight, first-round finish under the BKFC banner. Aguero’s combat resume includes an impressive 15-2 record as a professional gloved boxer, with 10 of those victories coming by knockout.

Major middleweight rankings are at stake in Friday's Co-Main Event showdown between Donald Sanchez and Dallas Davison. Sanchez is riding high with back-to-back Ws, most recently taking out Noah Cutter with a 35-second stoppage victory in January. Davison is headhunting for his third finish in the Squared Circle.

In Friday's Feature Fight, Will "The Brown Bomber" Santiago looks to smash his way to 3-0-1 with a third stoppage victory against his toughest challenge yet, the surging James "Knucklehead" Dennis, in a matchup of hard-hitting welterweight contenders. Dennis is looking to notch his third straight finish in the Squared Circle.

The event is scheduled to be headlined by BKFC Flyweight Champion John Dodson against Dagoberto Aguero.
