Rolles Gracie is still set to make his UFC debut on Feb. 6, but it may be against a new opponent. Mostapha Al-Turk has run into visa issues that could prevent the British fighter from making the trip to Las Vegas for the upcoming fight. Sources close to the situation informed MMAWeekly.com about the visa problems on Friday, stating that if Al-Turk is not able to make the fight, Gracie would face an alternate opponent. Al-Turk was set to make his third appearance in the Octagon, and was shooting for a better result than his first two times in the UFC. Suffering back-to-back losses to Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic and Cheick Kongo put Al-Turk in a must win situation when he was scheduled to face Gracie at UFC 109. There was no timetable given for how long the UFC would give Al-Turk to solve the visa issues before naming a new opponent. Sources close to Gracie, simply said the fighter is still training hard and plans on fighting at UFC 109 in just over a week. |

I guess its not easy to get a Visa to the US if your name is Mostafa... So dam stupid, they should just let him in and get over it, whats he gonna do? They think hes some kind of terrorist now or what. Sigh... Let him fight and then go back ffs. Bureaucratic bullshit is just so negative for the evolution of the world. |
