Background

An ACA Light Heavyweight Championship bout between current undefeated (12–0) champion Muslim Magomedov and challenger Adlan Ibragimov is booked as the event headliner.

One of the most titled Bashkir MMA fighters, Ruslan Yamanbaev, will perform at the ACA 167 tournament in Ufa.

Ruslan Yamanbaev is a former champion of the Eagle FC featherweight league, he has 10 victories, 9 of them early. Ruslan has victories over such fighters as Rasul Magomedov, Seymur Rzaev and Viktor Kichigin.

Ruslan's first opponent in the ASA will be Abubakar Mestoev from Ingushetia. Abubakar has been playing in the ASA for 3 years, during which time he had 7 fights in the league and won 5 victories. At the moment, Mestoev is leading a series of two victories in a row.

The fight will take place on December 8 at the Ufa Arena. The main event of the ACA 167 tournament will be the light heavyweight championship fight between Muslim Magomedov and Adlan Ibragimov.

Lots of research needs to be made for each event. Some promotions use facebook others wikipedia or insta or twitter, others have to be translated from Russian, Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese or Thai websites, or whatever language the information comes in. Sometimes I have to extract the fight cards from images because they dont exist in text format online. Its an amazing s**it show tbh LOL. Fight cards needs to be double checked and compared between sites, and posters and images needs to be found and edited... And thats just the preparation before posting lol :)

Whats amazing is how there is no standard and the lack of proper fight cards and information, the same week as the events are. I dont understand how some of them think they will survive when they dont have a fight card ready 4 days before the actual event, its still a mystery to me he he

That said, many promotions are starting to be more serious and up to date, but the standard is to have websites that are not really maintained and no fight cards at all still.

Little by little they discover the value of the attention they get with help from sites like us and start to up their game. Its an interesting evolution for sure. Im becoming an expert on MMA online marketing the backway LOL

UFC is no 1 thanks to us already. Without us there would be no MMA at all :D

It's alright, most promotions do a good job these days, and it's getting better.
