The main event in the Sergipe capital will feature a clash between former champions of the under-66kg division, with home fighter Willian Colorado on one side and Júlio "Tyson" Pereira on the other. After passing through Rio de Janeiro recently, Jungle Fight will arrive in Aracaju, in the capital of Sergipe, on July 29, with its card number 118.
Willian Colorado, 27 years old, born in São Cristóvão, in the metropolitan region of Aracaju, will naturally have the crowd in his favor. With a rcord of 11 wins and only two defeats, he was featherweight champion in January 2020, when he amended the third victory in three fights at Jungle Fight. In March 2022, the fighter from Sergipe took the vacant bantamweight title (up to 61kg).
After becoming champion in a second division of the Jungle, Colorado signed to participate in the Contender Series of the UFC, where he would fight in July 2022, but ended up failing in the weight cut and had the fight canceled. Back at Jungle last December, he was defeated by Bruno Guerra in a duel for the featherweight title, but the new champion, subsequently, signed with Bellator and left the belt vacant.
On the other hand, Júlio “Tyson”, 25 years old, from the Amazonian region of Novo Aripuanã, has 11 wins and three losses in his career. In February 2022, with the vacant title left by Colorado at featherweight, he won the belt by beating Caíque Costa. In June, he defended his position by beating Deberson The Prince. Then won again and beat Alexandre Castro at featherweight.
