Background
On March 17, Krasnodar will host the ACA 154 tournament, the main event of which will be a heavyweight championship fight.
Alikhan Vakhaev will defend his title for the first time against ex-champion Evgeny Goncharov.
Alikhan Vakhaev is the newly minted heavyweight champion. In August last year, Alikhan defeated Selimgerey Rasulov by unanimous decision and took away his champion title. Six months later, Alikhan returns to the cage for the first defense.
His opponent will be former ACA and WFCA champion Evgeny Goncharov, who restarted his career after returning to the league. At the moment, Evgeny is leading a series of 4 victories in a row - he has consistently defeated Muhumat Vakhaev, Tony Johnson, Daniel Omelyanchuk and Anton Vyazigin.
2023 Grands Prix
ACA President Mayrbek Khasiev recently revealed that the promotion will run Grand Prix across all their weight classes, with a total prize pool of $10 million.
Also for each event the following bonuses will be awarded:
$50,000 Performance of the Night. $25,000 Performance of the Night. $5000 Stoppage Victory Bonuses.
