Sebastian Przybysz (10-2) will put his KSW bantamweight title on the line against rival Jakub Wiklacz (13-3-1) in the co-main event of the evening while Turkey's Ibragim Chuzhigaev (16-5) makes the first defense of his KSW light heavyweight title when meets Croatia's Ivan Erslan (12-1).
Przybysz has become a big KSW fan favourite thanks to his exciting and wild performances. He joined the promotion in 2018 and has posted a 7-1 record with five finishes and six 'OTN' bonuses. The 29-year-old won the title at KSW 59 with a unanimous decision win over Antun Racic in what was a 'fight of the night' performance and has successfully defended the title twice with submission wins over Brazilian duo Bruno Santos and Werlleson Martins.
Now he meets old foe Jakub Wiklacz in what is a rubber match between the pair. Both fighters are tied with Przybysz winning their last encounter at KSW 53 and Wiklacz getting his hand raised in their first fight back in 2017. The 26-year-old has earned his way to the title with three straight wins over Patryk Surdyn, former champ Antun Racic, and Bruno Santos. The title is now at stake, as are bragging rights.
It has been a long road for both fighters in the light heavyweight title fight. Chuzhigaev and Erslan were originally slated to meet back in October, however, the fight got postponed due to border issues in the European Schengen Area. But now it will finally happen on December 17.
Chuzhigaev captured the title with a masterful win over former long time champ Tomasz Narkun at KSW 66 back in January. The 31-year-old is now on a seven-fight win-streak and is 12-1 since 2015. Coincidently, Ivan Erslan made his pro debut in 2015 and is 12-1 overall in his pro career. The ATT fighter is a one-time title challenger in KSW and came close to winning the title at KSW 56 but fell short. He has won three fights since, all via first round KO, to earn his spot once again as the number one contender.
