ONE on Prime Video 3: Lineker vs Andrade (also known as ONE Fight Night 3 outside the Americas) will be a Combat sport event held by ONE Championship on October 22, 2022 at the Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Fight Card Main Card Bantamweight 66 kg Brazil John Lineker (c) vs. Brazil Fabricio Andrade Bantamweight Championship Lightweight 77 kg Suriname Regian Eersel vs. Thailand Sinsamut Klinmee Inaugural Muay Thai Lightweight Championship Featherweight 70 kg South Korea Kim Jae Woong vs. Russia Shamil Gasanov Strawweight 57 kg Philippines Jeremy Miado vs. Australia Danial Williams Preliminary Card Lightweight 77 kg United States Kade Ruotolo vs. Russia Uali Kurzhev Inaugural Submission Grappling Lightweight Championship Flyweight 61 kg Iran Amir Naseri vs. Japan Taiki Naito Muay Thai Bantamweight 66 kg United States Asa Ten Pow vs. Algeria Mehdi Zatout Muay Thai Women's Atomweight 52 kg United States Lea Bivins vs. France Noelle Grandjean Postliminary Card Featherweight 70 kg Malaysia Keanu Subba vs. South Korea Yoon Chang Min Welterweight 84 kg Malaysia Agilan Thani vs. Germany Ilja Stojanov Background Topped by three massive World Title fights, ONE Championship will return to Malaysia with ONE on Prime Video 3. Knockout artists collide in the main event, with John Lineker defending his ONE Bantamweight World Title against surging Brazilian Fabricio Andrade. Plus, dominant lightweight kickboxing king Regian Eersel looks to claim a second belt when he battles rising Thai star Sinsamut Klinmee for the inaugural ONE Lightweight Muay Thai World Title. In addition, 19-year-old BJJ phenom and historic ADCC World Champion Kade Ruotolo faces Sambo World Champion and decorated judoka Uali Kurzhev for the inaugural ONE Lightweight Submission Grappling World Title. Top-ranked flyweight Muay Thai contender Superlek Kiatmoo9 will square off against his longtime rival and #2-ranked Panpayak Jitmuangnon in the tournament finale. The winner of that showdown will receive the prestigious Grand Prix silver belt and a shot at ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon‘s gold. Both men scored electrifying knockouts in their respective semifinal bouts at ONE on Prime Video 1 this past August, which set them up for another chapter in their storied rivalry. The Thai warriors have faced each other in seven thrilling contests, with Superlek winning their most recent meeting in July 2020 via unanimous decision. Before Superlek and Panpayak go to war, #2-ranked featherweight contender Kim Jae Woong welcomes promotional newcomer Shamil Gasanov to the Circle in a classic striker versus grappler matchup. After falling to current featherweight king Tang Kai in his last outing this past March, “The Fighting God” hopes to bounce back in a major way, and a victory over the undefeated Russian debutant could go a long way in helping him secure a rematch with the reigning ONE Featherweight World Champion. But Gasanov will be no walk in the park. “The Cobra” owns 12 professional victories with eight of those wins coming via submission and another two via knockout. The Russian may be well-rounded, but his grappling-heavy approach could cause big problems for the talented South Korean striker. Kicking off the main card is an MMA contest between two of the world’s best strawweight strikers. Surging Filipino sensation Jeremy Miado will look to earn his fourth straight knockout victory and jump back into the rankings when he takes on #5-ranked Danial “Mini T” Williams, who is riding an impressive five-bout winning streak. There’s also four exciting tilts on the lead card, which will be headlined by the first-ever ONE Lightweight Submission Grappling World Championship showdown between Kade Ruotolo and Uali Kurzhev. |
