Fernand Lopez 's organization returns to the French capital for its eighth edition. A somewhat special edition, since Dana White should be present to attend this new evening of fights, which will take place the day before UFC Paris.
This new edition will once again be crucial for some fighters, since two fights for the belt will take place during Ares 8. In the heavyweights, Slim Trabelsi, who comes out of a victorious fight against UFC veteran Luis Henrique, will fight for the heavyweight belt. Former Olympic wrestler , Trabelsi will face Kazakh Azamat Nuftillaev, reigning champion of Alash Pride FC, Kazakhstan's #1 MMA organization. Nuftillaev has an impressive record of 12 wins and 0 losses; the challenge will therefore be considerable for Trabelsi.
Long demanded by fans, the first women's belt will finally be put into play during Ares 8. In flyweight, Alexandra Tekenah will face Ivana Širić Petrović to determine which of the two women will become the first champion of the organization. An excellent prospect, Tekenah impressed on her sensational debut against Marmouset, whom she knocked out with a magnificent left hook during Ares 3.
