Yoko Kumada will join the Japanese commenting team. Ms. Kumada has commentary experience with Krush in the past, and this will be her first time commenting on the K-1.
The K-1 AWARDS will be held at this event, an annual award ceremony for all professional events (K-1 / Krush) and K-1 amateur tournaments held by K-1 JAPAN GROUP and participating players. Best player selected by fans ( MVP), best match (best bout), and best KO will be decided by general fan voting.
After "THE MATCH" concluded earlier this year now "K-1 NEXT", the next installment, will continue from Fukuoka in August until Yokohama in September and Osaka in December.
