This really isn't news.
Fedor has stated in interview that he would fight
Brock for free. What's happening now is just a little posturing and taunting from his camp that's guaranteed to go nowhere, but generate a little ink.
The
UFC has no interest or reason to have anyone fight
Fedor unless
Fedor signs a multi-fight contract with the
UFC. On the business side of things there's no upside for the
UFC to fight
Fedor. At best, the
UFC can lay claim to best fighter in the world, but that doesn't bring in the cash. If
Fedor was to win, it would be a major upheaval in the
UFC, weakening it's brand name world-wide and make it widely known that the
UFC isn't the only organization in the game with credible talent. This would be a victory for
Strikeforce whether
Fedor represented them or not and that's something the
UFC will go to great lengths to avoid.
Basically, the whole thing is meaningless. But yeah, Millen is a prick.
