Set to unfold in the iconic Saitama Super Arena, Japan’s most legendary stage for MMA and beyond, DECADE delivers a stacked card featuring title clashes, international showdowns, and history in the making.
In the main event, Japan’s featherweight king Chihiro Suzuki defends his title against submission artist Kleber Koike Erbst. Suzuki, the explosive striker known for his fast-paced aggression and devastating knockouts, has cemented himself as a fan-favorite and one of Japan’s brightest MMA stars. Across the ring stands Koike Erbst, a Brazilian jiu-jitsu specialist who has terrorized the featherweight division with his lethal grappling and smooth transitions. This is the striker versus grappler matchup that fans dream of—one punch, one takedown, and everything could change.
The co-main event sees lightweight champion Roberto de Souza face his toughest challenge yet in Azerbaijan’s rising star, Vugar Karamov. De Souza, a two-time RIZIN lightweight champion, brings his signature dominance on the ground with world-class jiu-jitsu, but Karamov has proven to be an unrelenting force, combining raw athleticism with power striking. Horiguchi, who has seamlessly transitioned back to RIZIN after international success, remains one of Japan’s greatest martial artists. Zulu, known for his resilience and sharp striking, will be looking to shock the world and carry gold back to Africa.
Beyond the title fights, the card is loaded with compelling matchups. Super Atomweight star Seika Izawa returns to face Argentina’s Lucia Apdelgarim, a clash of styles between Izawa’s precision and the South American’s aggressive approach.
