Background

The event is headlined by a lightweight clash between Claressa Shields and Brittney Elkin. Boxing champion and Olympic gold medalist Claressa Shields will make her MMA debut on the main card of this event against Brittney Elkin. The co-main event is a bout between the former UFC and WEC Lightweight champion Anthony Pettis and undefeated Alexander Martinez.

Also on the main card the 2011 NCAA Division I champion Bubba Jenkins will face Anthony Dizy. Plus Dana White's Contender Series alumni Brendan Loughnane face The Ultimate Fighter 27 contestant Tyler Diamond to round out the main card.

Anthony Dizy & Lazar Stojadinovic were supposed to face Bubba Jenkins and Lance Palmer respectively, but it was announced they will not compete at PFL 4. With the scratches, Palmer will now face Jesse Stirn, while Jenkins meets UFC veteran Bobby Moffett.

Natan Schulte was to face Mikhail Odintsov but it was announced on social media that he now instead will face his team-mate Raush Manfio.
