Just for the good of it and the exitement it would create. the world would thank him forever. That won't happen, because he is more concerned with his own interests than Fedor's career i.e. providing good fights for everyone. Sadly, Fedor believes Fink's shit, so unless Fink gives up on the co-promotion crap, we will never see Fedor in the UFC, because Dana and Lorenzo are too smart to let M-1 Global leech off of them.

I agree completely Dent. I hope they come to some sort of agreement, if not to further Fedor's career, then to create better relations between the smaller leagues and UFC. Do I think its fair that UFC has exclusive fighter contracts? I could care less, as long as they are flexible when everyone benefits. This Fedor situation won't hurt a damn person involved, so I really hope it happens somehow.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with exclusive contracts. You'll notice the UFC is the top MMA promotion in the world, whereas other promotions either fold or never come anywhere near competing with the UFC; they didn't get that way by NOT conducting business wisely.
The Los Angeles Times is now reporting that Fedor and the UFC are finalizing a deal. Take that for what you will.

Much rather have Tito than Fedor anyway. Tito actually puts asses in the seat, will have no problem hyping the fight, speaks English and actually WANTS to fight the top talent in the world. Fedor would much rather fight freak shows in Japan and those in the lower portion of the Top 20, while relying on a bunch of Internet clapping seals to still contend that he's the greatest EVAR.
Dana said it best, "a guy who doesn't want to be here? Fuck him."
