Fight For Japan: Genki Desu Ka Omisoka 2011, also known as Fight for Japan. How are you! New Year! 2011 is an upcoming mixed martial arts and kickboxing event and the latest in the annual New Year's Eve event promoted by DREAM and the IGF that is scheduled to take place on December 31, 2011 at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. The event will include bouts that encompass the DREAM, K-1 and K-1 World MAX banners. The event will air on HDNet in North America.

DREAM Lightweight Championship bout: Japan Shinya Aoki (c) vs. Japan Satoru Kitaoka
DREAM Featherweight Championship bout: Japan Hiroyuki Takaya (c) vs. Japan Takeshi Inoue
Featherweight bout: Japan Tatsuya Kawajiri vs. Japan Kazuyuki Miyata
Welterweight bout: Japan Hayato Sakurai vs. Japan Ryo Chonan
DREAM/K-1 Special Rules bout: Japan Yuichiro Nagashima vs. Japan Katsunori Kikuno
IGF Rules Bout: Japan Kazuyuki Fujita vs. Netherlands Peter Aerts

Bantamweight Tournament Semifinal bout: Japan Masakazu Imanari vs. United States Antonio Banuelos
Bantamweight Tournament Semifinal bout: Brazil Bibiano Fernandes vs. Brazil Rodolfo Marques
Bantamweight Tournament Reserve bout: Japan Hideo Tokoro vs. Russia Yusup Saadulaev
Bantamweight Tournament Final: Winner of Imanari/Banuelos vs. Winner of Fernandes/Marques

Megumi Fujii vs. Karla Benitez


Background

In addition to MMA fights, the event is expected to feature K-1, kickboxing, pro-wrestling and other competitions.

The semi-finals and finals of Dream's World Bantamweight Grand Prix will be held at this event.

The Nagashima/Kikuno mixed rules bout will consist of a three minute first round under K-1 rules and a five minute second round under DREAM rules.

Kazushi Sakuraba may be involved in a puroresu bout on this card.

Tim Sylvia was expected to face Brett Rogers at this event, however the bout was scrapped because Rogers was unable to obtain a visa to enter Japan.
