Whether you like the sport or not is irrelevant - having advertisement space during major sporting events such as soccer, NFL, MLB, NBA with "UFC on FOX" logos would bring more viewers to the sport thus the sport gets bigger=> more ad spaces on network TV=> more money in the sport=> the fighters get paid more. It'a all about ratings on network TV.
