A light-heavyweight bout between Roger Gracie (4-0 MMA, 2-0 SF) and ex-champ Muhammed "King Mo" Lawal (7-1 MMA, 2-1 SF) has been rescheduled for a currently unannounced Sept. 10 Strikeforce event.

As MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) recently reported, Gracie withdrew from the duo's planned July 30 meeting due to a lingering injury.

Today, sources told MMAjunkie.com it's been rescheduled for Sept. 10. MMAWeekly.com first reported the change.

Bout agreements recently were distributed and are in the process of being finalized. A stress fracture forced Gracie into a cast, but it recently was removed, which allowed him to return to training.

No host city or venue have been announced for the Sept. 10 event. However, Gracie vs. Lawal is expected to be part of the Showtime-televised main card.

Gracie, a decorated grappler and submission specialist, looks to win for the fifth time in as many career fights. The two-time Strikeforce fighter has earned all four of his career MMA wins via submission, and only Kevin Randleman lasted past the opening round.

Lawal, a former NCAA Division I All-American wrestler and Olympic hopeful, returns to action for the first time since losing his 205-pound title to Rafael "Feijao" Cavalcante this past August. The loss was the first for Lawal, who opened up with seven consecutive wins as a professional.

Lawal vs. Gracie initially was rumored for a June 18 event in Lawal's hometown of Dallas before it was announced for the July 30 show. Sept. 10 now is the targeted date.
