HOW TO SAVE YOUR FIREFOX BOOKMARKS AND PASSWORDS AS A BACKUP
Need to reinstall operative sytem and /or want a backup of your FF client. Or maybe you want a clone on your laptop or vice versa?
Go to:
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles rightclick the xbksfrgre.default profile folder (or whatever yours name is) then compress it as a rar put rarfile that on a cdrom or a memory card then whatever happens you can get your exact own firefos setup with bookmarks and profies on oany computer at any time and will never loose the details!
(when you put the folder in same location on other computer, or after a new reinstall, make sure you have started firefox once first and then closed it. Go to C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox and choose the file profiles.ini and open it with notepad there change the default profile to yours then start firefox and your client with all bookmarks and passwords will open)
