I really enjoyed the Primetime series this time! Last year's was good, but I think they really improved the quality for this second "season".
Thought they really captured both fighters and explained them really well, showed loads of backstory about their motivations and their strengths and weaknesses. I particularly enjoyed Hardy's footage of him training in China. Thought they really kept the balance of content fair and didn't promote one guy's chances over the other. Both guys were honest and open and didn't give stock answers. I just came away without any doubt that both guys were training at their limits for this fight and wanted it so badly, and the direction was such that they really showed both guys as legitimate and convinced me that it was going to be a very tough and exciting fight which could go all over the cage for round after round. SO excited to watch the fight now!
I'd picked GSP in the competition before watching episode 3 and now, boy, I'd have a really tough time deciding who to pick if I hadn't already made it - kinda glad we can't change our picks after submission anymore, cos I'd probably be agonising over whether or not to change right now!
Think one thing is crystal-clear though: even if Hardy doesn't win this weekend (and I've never counted him out for a second), he's going to be right at the top of the division for a long time yet and this will not be his last title shot.
I'd give this year's Primetime a 5 out of 5.
