What I don't understand: HOW does Fedor strike so freaking hard? He is hitting people and his punches land so hard like a brick hidden in a hiking sock!

A few things:
1. Fedor is gonna graciously say he'd accept a rematch even if he doesn't want one/ there won't be one against Rogers. He's part owner of Strikeforce/ M-1.
2. There won't be a Brock/Fedor card in the foreseeable future, so it isn't worth discussing.
3. The cut Rogers opened up on Fedor. If you watch Fedor before the fight, he has some considerable scar tissue right there on the bridge of his nose. I bet Angela Landsbury could open up that cut if she lifted he butt and farted just right. I give Rogers some credit for the 2 escapes he pulled off on the ground. Other than that, I didn't doubt Fedor for a minute. Seacrest out.

First off, "leg play" is the most pornographic sounding and hilarious broken-English translation EVER by the frumpiest translator in MMA history.
Fedor clearly has the best corner in MMA. Anyone who gives him trouble in the first round get KTFO'd in the second. Rogers did quite well, but he needs to work on his boxing defense. When Fedor bleeds, he really bleeds. It looked like he reopened the same cut that gave him his sole loss. Fedor is known as a bleeder. He just gets hit cleanly so little that few people recognize it. FWIW, I think Fedor may have little choice in accepting a rematch in the future. Both M-1 and Strikeforce have limited HW/LHW depth.
How does Fedor hit so hard? Watch the way he strikes. He throws his whole body into it and winds up from Tokyo to New York. It leaves him wide open for a straight right or an uppercut, but Fedor waits until he knows his opponent can't counter in time and turns on the afterburners. Fedor has deceptive speed for a HW.

Quote: Fedor is unreal. End of story. For all these people saying Arloski was beating him and Rogers was beting him, landing a shot or two doesn't constitute winning a fight. Eveyone takes a shot once in a while, and when Fedor takes one, the opponent is automatically "beating" him. The reason Fedor is great is because he is so aware all the time. He can take a shot, stay calm, and regroup and attack and win. That's the mark of a great fighter. And for anyone saying ground has an amazing "ground game", think again. He's an amazing WRESTLER I'll give him that much, he can wrestle great, but "ground game"? come on, he doesnt know an armbar from a chocolate bar. Fedor would do to him the same he's done to everyone of his opponents since 2000, except for the one lucky bastard that managed to cut him back in the day and Tsuyoshi Kosaka is nowhere to be found these days so...
...If I was him though, I'd definitely sport an "I Beat Fedor and all I got was this lousy shirt" When I'm talking about the whole ground game thing, I meant to say Brock, not "and for anyone saying ground has an amazing ground game" loooooool

I can't argue with you Steve. Ground has the best ground game in the business. There was a comment about Fedor's corner. I'm not sure his corner is good or not. I do know that this last Strikeforce reinforced my idead that both Fedor and Mousasi's calm, collected attitude while fighting makes them very adaptive to their situations. It reminds me very much of Bruce Lee in his competition and exhibition videos. The calmness is related to the ability to turn their situations in their favor.

i agree with you, because Brock is gonna lose against shane carwin, or against velasquez in the near future, and all this shit i hear of Brock being unbeatable and being a beast is gonna be over. Damn i hate that Drama Queen, he should have stayed to WWE, to be honest. And its pretty obvious that guy eats stereoids, and im pretty sure as well that the fight against carwin is being cancelled due to such a problem.
