Well folks for me that was an awesome event, they dumped gus johnson and let my man do his thing with The fight professor and Pat, only thing is i didnt like the stand in a mini cage and talk sections was a bit gay and a bit wwe. But that being said that is picking at bones because as an event and for entertainment the match makers got it spot on.
For me there was not one boring or one sided fight on there was a real good show...in my opinion strikeforces best show to date.
Lawler i thought had won it but may need to watch the first round again the second robbie did nothing and in the third he went for broke.
Kj noons looked good but gotta give props to huen he brought a war.
Prangly got dealt with and the sniper looked great did not see that ending that quick.
Cyborg..has he been eating his wifes weetabix?? great KO
well done scott coker and co.

Yeah, great event. Definitely the best Strikeforce have produced for a while.

The announcement booth and the general "live show" feel was awful. What a weird, weird idea. The wrongest bit of all of this is doing an interview with King Mo whilst Lawler and Sobral are between rounds, asking him what he thinks of the fight, how it's going, and who he wants to win, all whilst being broadcast around the arena for Lawler and Sobral to hear clearly. That seemed super wrong.

Good to lose Gus Johnson, still largely fairly scrappy production, as we've all come to expect from Strikeforce. Fuck that stupid looped ten year old electronic music on CONSTANTLY. When will they learn?

BUT... the fights... FANTASTIC! Loved 'em all. Thought that Sobral probably edged a close split, not a unanimous, but despite that I actually expected Lawler to get it based on the last 2 minutes of the fight. Kind of nice to see judges objectively review the whole fight for their scorecards and not get swayed by the last few minutes, or the condition of the guys' faces, which has been the cause of many recent bad decisions.

Talking of weird judging, someone gave the first fight 30-27 Heun! Classic. Good fight that, Noons worked him over very well with the boxing but didn't exactly look invulnerable to that same boxing himself.

Yawn for Prangley. Nice one Kennedy. No surprises at all, just a little quicker than anticipated.

And finally, see you later Zaromskis, the hype was fun while it lasted. Shown absolutely nothing since he landed in the US, very very poor. Back to Japan methinks, which is a bit of a shame.

Yes my brother i forgot about the interview over the PA during the Robbie lawler fight at the time me and subvert looked at each other and said at the same time.."oh dear"

Lol@the shit music..one minute they have busta rhymes bringing in a fighter next they have some 80s polish synth pop instrumentals playing.

I found the camera work and production a bit better but yeah some of it sloppy especially their replays very slow to show and get good shots.

I thought it was ok with Mauro and company in the cage there and the event was cool overall. Some great fights.

One of the better SF events Ive seen. The audience did a good job, where they coached? (lol) They didnt boo almost at all. Nice.
