Three new match-ups were added to UFC Fight Night 44 card in Texas, the promotion announced Wednesday.
Grappling wizard Antonio Braga Neto will finally make his return to the Octagon against Clint Hester at the fight card. Neto (9-1, 1 no-contest) made his UFC debut last June with a first-round submission over Anthony Smith, and Hester (10-3) enters the cage riding a six-fight win streak, three of them under the UFC banner.
The other middleweight contest features TUF: Brazil 1 winner Cezar Ferreira and Texas native Andrew Craig. "Mutante" (7-3) looks to return to the win column after a 39-second knockout loss to C.B. Dollaway, his first loss inside the Octagon. With a 3-2 record in the UFC, Craig (9-2) last entered the cage in a second-round loss to Luke Barnatt.
In the welterweight division, Luiz Dutra seeks redemption against Sean Spencer. TUF: Brazil’s Dutra (11-3-1) snapped his four-fight win streak with a DQ after landing several illegal elbows on Kiichi Kunimoto in his UFC debut. At 2-2 inside the Octagon, Spencer (11-3) suffered a split decision loss against Alex Garcia in his last UFC appearance.
