Today's UFC on FUEL TV 2 event drew 15,428 attendees for a $2.23 million live gate.

MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) confirmed the attendance and gate figures at the night's post-event press conference.

The event, which took place at Stockholm's Ericsson Globe Arena, set a venue record for a live gate at a sporting event, UFC president Dana White said.

Without a local athletic commission working in Sweden, official figures won't be available for the show, which included a main card on FUEL TV and prelims on Facebook.

UFC on FUEL TV 2, which featured Swede Alexander Gustafsson's unanimous-decision victory over Thiago Silva in the headliner, produced one of the biggest non-pay-per-view events in UFC history.

According to figures compiled by MMAjunkie.com, UFC on FUEL TV 2 also ranked among the top-five all-time attendance tallies and gate figures for the UFC's European shows.

Siyar Bahadurzada, John Maguire, Brad Pickett and Damacio Page each earned $50,000 bonuses for their performances at today's UFC on FUEL TV 2 event.

Bahadurzada earned the night's "Knockout of the Night" bonus, Maguire picked up the "Submission of the Night" award, and Pickett and Page took home "Fight of the Night" honors.

UFC president Dana White announced the winners following the event.

UFC on FUEL TV 2 took place at Stockholm's Ericsson Globe Arena. It was the UFC's first event in Sweden.

The event's main card aired on FUEL TV, and the prelims streamed on Facebook. All three bonus-winning fights took place on the night's main card.

Bahadurzada needed just 42 seconds to knock out welterweight Paulo Thiago for a successful UFC debut. The newcomer connected with a right hand as Thiago rushed forward, and the Brazilian went out cold as he hit the canvas face first.

Maguire met fellow welterweight DaMarques Johnson in a chess match of a fight. But after a series of first-round submission attempts, Maguire got the tap-out in the second round with an armbar.

Pickett and Page, meanwhile, met in bantamweight barn-burner. Pickett, though, ultimately got the victory via second-round rear-naked choke after dazing Page with hooks and uppercuts and taking the fight to the mat. Pickett now has picked up back-to-back "Fight of the Night" awards.
