I may be right or wrong (usually wrong, hehe), but I always have a pretty good idea of who I think is going to win a fight. So, I just have one question to throw out there....
Am I the only person who doesn't have a @#$@ clue about who is going to win this?
Who has the advantage in:
Striking (Fedor? But Hendo won't stand in front of him like Rogers)
Grappling/Ground game (Submissions to Fedor-Wrestling to Hendo? Ground and Pound even?)
Stamina (?)
Fight Prep (?)
Quality of recent opponents (? but at least Hendo beat them?)
I pretty much come with a shrug in every category. I just don't have a freakin' clue. Figure in the possible geezer factor and all bets are off. Help!
Striking: Different styles, both are good strikers, both have KO power, I would say even.
Grappling/Ground game: Fedor will dominate Hendo in the grappling game but Hendo will use his great wrestling to stay out of it. Edge to Fedor.
Stamina: No idea, they are both probably really training hard for this fight so I think it will be more a mental issue the day of the fight then the overall stamina. I would give a slight edge to Hendo that has not looked tired in his last fights while Fedor seemed a little off. But Im not sure its a stamina issue...
Fight Prep: According to Fedor he is in great shape and feel very good, has had a good training camp and he is exited to make a great comeback. Regarding Hendo, count on the usual professional fight camp. I see it as a draw here too.
Quality of recent opponents: Imo Hendo has defenitely fought harder competition, and won, lately. Loosing to bigfoot wasnt good for Fedor here, he defenitely comes of as the guy that fought a couple of now has beens and won, came back and lost to non top ranked fighters.
Hope it helped somewhat.
