no really, it was internal issues between the new owner&coder and the old mods.
The site closure had nothing at all to do with outside influences.

However still a silly thing to do, public trading attracts unwanted attention

Some people are still sharing stuff to public sites and forums and they are wondering why they get legal threats, as seen in other topic on this forum.

Certain site has huge amount of members and just cos they are requiring registration it doesn't mean that they are private. Cos lots of info can be seen just by browsing as guest.
Also some people are uploading stuff to rapidshit and similiar services and posting links to forum in hope they will earn dollar or two.

So in case you have good friends with whom you want to share something rather contact staff about inviting those people here than risking and sharing on public sites. Certain member did that mistake so had to cease any p2p activity to avoid further legal problems.

If you need any kind of anonymity both here and on other sites don't hesitate to contact staff on tracker. In case you live in country where p2p activity is frowned upon there are ways to cover any trace and avoid problems.
