Al Iaquinta's consolation prize wasn't so bad.

The lightweight won a pair of bonus awards for his performances on the inaugural season of "The Ultimate Fighter: Live." He joined castmates Joe Proctor and Myles Jury with post-season bonuses.

The awards, $25,000 each, were announced during Friday's TUF Live Finale on FX – just before Iaquinta was choked out by underdog Mike Chiesa, who became the latest "TUF champion."

Fans voted on the bonus winners following the conclusion of the regular season of the reality-competition show.

Iaquinta, coach Urijah Faber's top pick this season, won for the show's best knockout for his first-round TKO of Andy Ogle in the quarterfinal round. And he picked up another $25,000 for the season's best fight thanks to his split-decision win over Myles Jury in the season's opening round. That bout was the only one during the season to go a full 15 minutes.

Proctor won his $25,000 bonus for the season's best submission – a first-round rear-naked-choke win over Chris Tickle in the tournament's round of 16. But Proctor lost his next fight to eventual semifinalist James Vick.

At Friday's TUF Live Finale, Proctor picked up a first-round TKO win over Jeremy Larsen for his first official UFC victory. And Jury stopped Chris Saunders with a first-round guillotine choke.

Martin Kampmann, Mike Chiesa and John Cofer each earned $40,000 bonuses for their performances tonight at The Ultimate Fighter Live Finale – and Justin Lawrence doubled up with two awards and a total of $80,000.

Kampmann and Lawrence each picked up a "Knockout of the Night" bonus, Chiesa picked up the "Submission of the Night" award, and Lawrence and Cofer took home "Fight of the Night" honors.

UFC president Dana White announced the winners following the event.

The Ultimate Fighter Live Finale took place at The Pearl at Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas. The main card aired on FX following prelims on FUEL TV and Facebook.

Lawrence, one of the favorites on "The Ultimate Fighter: Live," made up for a disappointing quarterfinal loss in the "TUF" house by going toe-to-toe with Cofer on Friday's preliminary card. He then landed a massive highlight-reel head-kick knockout in the third round.

Kampmann won for the second time in a row in comeback fashion after stopping the streaking Jake Ellenberger with a second-round TKO. Kampmann had to survive an early onslaught of offense from Ellenberger in the night's main event, and he then survived Ellenberger's stifling ground work that seemed to have the action stalled out for much of the first. But in the second round, the two came out swinging, and after Kampmann stunned Ellenberger with his hands, he got a Thai clinch and landed three big knees, the third of which put Ellenberger on the canvas.

And Chiesa's unforgettable night continued after the card. In the co-main event, he upset Al Iaquinta to become the latest winner of "The Ultimate Fighter," which capped an emotional season after the death of his father just days into the the reality show's three-month season. Chiesa not only won the show in upset fashion, he won a guaranteed UFC contract, a three-fight deal from primary sponsor TapouT, a new Harley-Davidson motorcycle – and then a $40,000 submission bonus for putting Iaquinta to sleep with a rear-naked choke.
