Well done to the winners!
As always find post fight thoughts and stories that culminated from the event right here!

Spoiler:
Chan Sung Jung's incredible fourth-round submission win was enough to earn him $80,000 in performance bonuses at Tuesday's UFC on FUEL TV 3 event.

His opponent, Dustin Poirier, also brought home $40,000, as did main-card winner Tom Lawlor.

UFC president Dana White announced the bonus amounts following the card, which took place at Patriot Center in Fairfax, Va., and aired on FUEL TV and streamed on Facebook.

Jung, of course, entered his main-event fight with Poirier as a heavy underdog. However, "The Korean Zombie" turned in his third-straight legendary UFC performance, following up a twister win over Leonard Garcia and a seven-second knockout of Mark Hominick with a rousing back-and-forth battle that ended with a fourth-round submission via D'arce choke.

A potential "Fight of the Year" candidate, Jung and Poirier each netted a share of the evening's "Fight of the Night" bonus. Jung also took home the "Submission of the Night" award.

Meanwhile, Lawlor celebrated his 29th birthday with a 50-second knockout of longtime veteran Jason MacDonald. The night's only knockout win took home the evening's "Knockout of the Night" award by default, but the brutal finish would have been a candidate regardless.

Spoiler:
Jason MacDonald isn't retiring.

Despite his quick knockout loss to Tom Lawlor at Tuesday's UFC on FUEL TV 3 event, the 36-year-old Canadian middleweight isn't calling it quits.

"To set record straight ... [MacDonald] never said he's retiring," officials stated via the UFC Canada Twitter account. "Tough break last night. Hope to see him back soon."

In a FUEL TV-televised main card bout at the Patriot Center in Fairfax, Va., MacDonald suffered his third loss in four fights. Lawlor connected on a left hand to the chin and a right to the temple to drop MacDonald and pick up the TKO victory in just 50 seconds. He also earned a $40,000 "Knockout of the Night" bonus with the effort.

Prior to the fight, MacDonald hoped he could pick up a win and get booked for UFC 149, which takes place in his home country on July 21 in Calgary, Alberta. With the knockout loss, MacDonald likely faces a decent-sized medical suspension, which would make the UFC 149 plans unlikely.

MacDonald, who first debuted with the UFC in 2006, is in his second stint with the UFC. He went 5-5 in the first, and after fighting his way back to the promotion in 2010, he's just 1-2.

The fighter has dealt with an array of injuries during his career. In fact, he missed a year from mid-2010 to mid-2011 after breaking his leg in a UFC 113 loss to John Salter.

Spoiler:
UFC president Dana White is scheduled to undergo a procedure today in Los Angeles for a condition called Meniere's disease, which affects 50,000 to 100,000 people per year.

Because of the procedure – which ideally will eliminate some of the symptoms he's had for the past few months – White had to skip last night's UFC on FUEL TV 3 event in Fairfax, Va.

It's the first UFC show White couldn't attend in an 11-year span that's included 168 consecutive events under the current Zuffa LLC ownership.

The most common symptoms of Meniere's disease are intense dizziness or vertigo, lack of balance, and hearing loss. The exact cause of Meniere's is not known, but it's believed to be related to an increase in fluid pressure of the inner ear, which is the body's equilibrium center.

Meniere's may develop as a result of head trauma, middle or inner ear infection, allergies, recent viral illness, fatigue and stress – just to name a few.

An attack of Meniere's can be quite debilitating – causing sudden loss of balance, decrease in hearing, profound dizziness, nausea, vomiting and severe sweating.

Lifestyle changes with diet, proper rest, and relaxation therapy are often tried with varying results. Antibiotics are commonly used to treat a confirmed inner or middle ear infection. Daily medications including herbal remedies are reviewed to make sure the symptoms are not related to a side effect or drug interaction. The doctor may also suggest limiting alcohol or caffeine consumption.

If severe symptoms persist, a surgical procedure like White's may be indicated. Surgery may include cutting the vestibular nerve, which helps relieve the vertigo without hearing loss. Sometimes a portion of the inner-ear apparatus must be removed, which helps with the dizziness but causes complete hearing loss in that ear. On occasion an antibiotic can be placed directly into middle ear to relieve the symptoms.

Despite missing Tuesday's event, White continued tweeting throughout the night. He even dictated some instructions to the production crew and answered a ton of fans' questions. Despite his illness, it was anything but a night off for one of the world's busiest sports executives.

I wish Dana godspeed and a full recovery – because the world isn't nearly as colorful and exciting of a place when he's not 100 percent!
